The Golden Sprinkler Award is given to the unsung heroes in the world of golf. Their names are not found on club heads, golf bags, the sides of soft-spiked shoes, or the fronts of cereal boxes. They are the ones who provide the lush green fairways, the carpet smooth greens, the neatly landscaped layouts, the smiles in the pro shop, and the greet of the day at the starters shed.

The Golden Sprinkler Award is one that takes into consideration all aspects of golf course maintenance, service, speed of play, courtesy and overall presentation.

2006 Recipients: Tee-Ball Golf is pleased to announce the Golden Sprinkler Awards for 2006.  This award takes into consideration all aspects of golf course maintenance, service, speed of play, courtesy, and the overall presentation going above and beyond the call of duty.

So congratulations go to the Captains Golf Courses in Brewster for Barnstable County, Director of Operations Mark O’Brien and Superintendent Stephen Mann, Squirrel Run Golf Club in Plymouth for Plymouth County, Head Golf Professional David Moore and Superintendent David Mann, and, for the second year in a row, Holly Ridge Golf Course in Sandwich for the Walking Course Category, Director of Golf Jean Enright and Superintendent Al Comeau.
